Melanie Allsop

Ms. Melanie has worked in musical theater for over 15 years as a vocal performer, dancer and choreographer. Her experience in Classical, Jazz, Opera, and Music Theatre, insures she can help students find their special sound and confidence no matter the style.

Melanie was trained at a young age to connect personal sound to the audience. Her family was the community entertainment for public and private events and by the time she was a teen she ran a community dance studio while competing in theatre and musical vocal performance.

Accepted into a university scholarship program she was immersed in classical/jazz vocal refinement and a rigorous performance schedule while she completed her Bachelors degree.

Her unique opportunities living overseas led to supporting the music program at international schools and leading the children’s celebration of country productions that represented America.

Grace Schexnayder

Ms. Grace is a classically trained vocalist, with extensive experience in Music Theatre, Opera, Pop, Jazz, and Rock. She has performed at Disney World, Carnegie Hall, with the Houston Symphony Orchestra at the Astros, and all over the country. She comes with unique knowledge from world renowned conductors, composers, and broadway stars and directors. She placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the National Association of Teachers of Singing solo competitions, and recently placed 1st in the talent at the National American Miss Texas Pageant.

She has especially found a deep love for Musical Theatre having performing on stages all over Houston. Some roles including: Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), Sandy (Grease), Johanna (Sweeney Todd), Janet Van De Graaff (The Drowsy Chaperone), Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods), Linda Mason (Holiday Inn), Margo (Bright Star), Erma (Anything Goes), and many more!

Grace is currently pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Houston and has her Associate of Arts from Lone Star College. She has participated in elite competitive choirs throughout her school years, including, but not limited to: the intermediate district Honor Choir, the Peet Junior High TMEA and Region Choirs, the Conroe High School Chamber, Women’s, and elite a cappella competition choirs, the TMEA regional Women’s and Mixed choirs, the Texas All State Mixed Choir, and the Lone Star Montgomery Chamber Choir.

Sarah Naquin

Ms. Sarah has had a passion for singing from a young age, with favorite musical theater roles from her youth including Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Rizzo (Grease) and Ti Moune (Once on This Island).

Most recently she's been thrilled to play exciting roles like Fiona (Shrek) and Baker's Wife (Into the Woods) and get involved in various local theaters. She has previously sung with the Houston Symphony Chorus, The University of Texas Longhorn Singers, and The University of Michigan Women's Glee Club. She has also participated in elite competitive choirs, including the TMEA All State Women's Choir and the TMEA All State Mixed Choir (1st chair Soprano II).

Kylee Haueter

Ms. Kylee has been a musical theater performer for over 15 years, falling in love with performing at a young age.  

She was professionally vocally trained from the ages of 10 to 21, studying a range of styles from Music Theatre, Opera, Pop, and Classical, and has studied multiple languages including Italian, German, French, Spanish, and Latin.

In high school, she sang competitively in choral and solo competitions, and consistently received “Superior” rankings in the Minnesota State High School League solo competitions. She was honored to sing a solo at Carnegie Hall when her high school choir traveled to New York for a high school choral festival and spent two of her high school years singing in the MMEA All-State Choir. She also helped to start and was a founding member of a competitive a cappella group that advanced to the semi-finals of the ICHSA competition and still competes ten years later. 

Some of Ms. Kylee’s favorite roles include Sylvia (Finding Neverland), Lucy (You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Paulette (Legally Blonde), and Nancy (Oliver).

Aerissandra Bolton

Ms. Aeris has been a private vocal student of Ms. Bonnie for several years and the Bonnie Huling Voice Studio is where she has developed her vocal technique, musicianship, and confidence as both a singer and performer. Additionally, she has performed in many studio recitals, sang solos at school performances and at various community events. Ms. Aeris also has over eight years of choir experience and has taken five years of various theatre classes and vocal classes through CYT.

She has appeared in more than 20 theatrical productions, gaining valuable stage experience through a wide variety of roles. She loves mentoring younger performers and recently served on the directing team for Aladdin Jr. at York Junior High. Her passion for music and theatre continues to inspire her to grow as both a performer and an educator.

She is excited to share her passion with young singers by helping them build confidence, develop healthy singing habits, and discover the joy of performing!
